Most homes qualify for the full $6,250.
The rebate is highest when you're replacing electric baseboards, oil heat, or an aging furnace-only setup with a qualifying cold-climate ductless mini-split. We size, install, and file the paperwork to land you at the top of the curve.
1cold-climate ductless install
2–5indoor zones (the more zones, the more rebate)
0paperwork on you — we file it all
No ducts. Room-by-room control. A cheque from the province.
The numbers are simple once someone shows them to you in writing. That's literally what the free assessment is for.
No ductwork? No problem.
Older homes, additions, attic conversions, basements — if there are no ducts, a ductless mini-split goes in without tearing up walls. Typical install: 1 day per zone. One 3-inch hole and a tidy line-set along the exterior.
Every room, its own setpoint
Bedroom cool, office warm, basement dehumidified — each zone set independently. No more fighting with one thermostat for the whole house. No more closed vents. No more "the upstairs is always 4 degrees off."
The rebate covers a huge chunk of the install
Up to $6,250 on qualifying ductless mini-splits through Home Renovation Savings. Don't want to buy outright? Ask about our rental program — zero upfront, predictable monthly, full coverage included.
The assessment nails the right answer. Here's the 30-second primer.
Single-zone solves one stubborn room. Multi-zone replaces an aging system across the whole house and unlocks the full rebate.
One head, one stubborn room
Best for: a finished basement that's too cold, a sunroom that's too hot, a home office, an addition, a bonus room above the garage.
- Typical install: 1 day
- Quietest indoor head on the market
- Lowest up-front cost
One outdoor unit, 2–5 indoor heads
Best for: whole-home comfort without ducts, replacing electric baseboards across multiple floors, or layering on top of an old furnace for shoulder-season efficiency.
- Typical install: 1 day per zone
- One outdoor unit handles them all
- Unlocks the full $6,250 rebate
Ready to see your numbers?
A 60-second form or a 2-minute phone call — whichever you prefer — and we'll tell you exactly what you qualify for. No pressure, no upselling.
We're not the cheapest ductless installer in the GTA — and that's the point.
BUT we're TSSA-licensed (FS-R-52162), insured by Zensurance, HRAI members, and WSIB cleared. We quote upfront — no surprise charges on install day. We file every rebate form ourselves so you actually receive the $6,250 instead of leaving it on the table.
And we pick up the phone when something goes wrong at year four — because most cheap installers won't. If you want the lowest quote in the city, we'll respectfully point you elsewhere. If you want it done right once, let's talk.

Real homeowner questions, answered.
Am I actually eligible for the full $6,250?
Most Ontario homeowners replacing electric baseboards, oil heat, or a furnace-only setup with a qualifying cold-climate ductless mini-split are eligible. The exact amount depends on capacity and zone configuration — we confirm during the free in-home assessment. We'll tell you straight, even if you don't qualify.
Will a ductless mini-split actually heat in Ontario winters?
Yes. Modern cold-climate mini-splits are rated to heat efficiently down to −25 °C. Every system we install is sized for the coldest week of the year in your neighbourhood. If it makes sense, we pair it with a small backup — so you're never cold, even at −30.
How many heads do I need?
Depends on home size and layout. Typical: 1 head per 400–600 sq ft of living space, or one per main room. Single-zone fixes one stubborn room; multi-zone (2–5 heads) replaces a whole-home setup. We map it out during the assessment.
How disruptive is the install?
Minimal. No duct work, no drywall opening beyond a tidy 3-inch hole per zone. Typical single-zone: 4–6 hours. Multi-zone: 1 day per zone. Drop-cloths down, boots off, line-sets routed neatly along the exterior.
Are the indoor heads ugly?
Modern heads are slim, white, and much quieter than older units — most homeowners forget they're there within a week. Floor-mounted and ceiling-cassette options exist if wall-mount isn't your thing.
How long does the rebate take to arrive?
Typically a few months after install, depending on program volume. We handle all the filing — pre-audit, post-audit, energy advisor coordination, utility submission — for no extra charge. You sign one authorization.
Why should I choose you instead of the cheapest quote?
The cheapest quote usually doesn't include: proper sizing, clean line-set routing, rebate paperwork, workmanship warranty, or someone who answers the phone at year 4. We're TSSA-licensed, insured by Zensurance, HRAI members, WSIB cleared — verify all four in 30 seconds.
What if I'm currently renting my existing HVAC?
Common in GTA homes. If you're locked into a big-brand rental (Reliance, Enercare, etc.) and want to own, we've helped hundreds of GTA homeowners exit those contracts — we calculate buyout math vs a new owned ductless, rebates included. If you prefer to rent but want better terms, our own rental program is a fair alternative.
Own it or rent it — what are my options?
Two paths. Buy outright — you own the system, claim the full $6,250, and every dollar saved on bills goes into your pocket. Rent from us — zero upfront cost, predictable monthly fee, full coverage (parts, labour, service, eventual replacement) included. We run both numbers at the assessment.
What's covered under warranty?
Manufacturer warranty on the equipment (5–12 years parts and compressor depending on brand) plus our written workmanship warranty on the install labour. We go through the terms line-by-line during the walkthrough — before you sign anything.
What happens after I book?
Within one business day a licensed technician (not a sales rep) calls you, confirms a time, and books the free in-home visit. The tech shows up on time, measures your home, reviews zone options, emails you a written quote. You decide. No follow-up spam.
