Ductless mini-splits designed room by room.

A ductless mini-split connects an outdoor heat pump to one or more indoor units. Each zone gets its own temperature control, making ductless a practical option for homes without ductwork, additions, upper floors and rooms that conventional systems do not serve well.

Good design goes beyond counting indoor heads. Room size, windows, insulation, exposure, floor level and how air moves between connected spaces affect the load. Head location, refrigerant-line routing, condensate drainage, electrical work and outdoor-unit placement also need a plan.

Infinite Home Comfort is a Panasonic dealer and also offers Gree, Kepler and Lennox heat-pump options. Your proposal can compare eligible single-zone and multi-zone layouts by capacity, sound, controls, warranty and complete installed scope.

Use the free-quote path to start a room-by-room design, or book an assessment when an existing ductless system needs diagnosis or service.

Why homeowners choose ductless

More control.
Less compromise.

Ductless systems can solve uncomfortable rooms without the cost and disruption of adding a complete duct system.

01

Efficient by design

Variable-speed inverter systems adjust output instead of repeatedly starting and stopping at full power.

02

Heating + cooling

One system provides air conditioning in summer and efficient heat through much of Ontario’s winter.

03

Room-by-room zoning

Set independent temperatures in bedrooms, living areas, additions or different floors of the home.

04

Quiet comfort

Modern indoor heads run at low sound levels and avoid the rush of air from a traditional central system.

Can a ductless heat pump heat my home in winter?+

Cold-climate models are designed to operate in low outdoor temperatures, but system capacity, home heat loss and backup-heat needs must be reviewed for your specific property.

How many indoor units do I need?+

It depends on the floor plan, room loads and how air moves through the home. One open area may need a single head, while separated rooms usually need individual zones or another system approach.

Do ductless systems replace air conditioning?+

Yes. A mini-split heat pump provides both cooling and heating, plus dehumidification in cooling mode.

Do I need a home energy assessment for the heat-pump rebate?+

The current Home Renovation Savings heat-pump stream does not require a home energy assessment. Program pre-approval and all other eligibility requirements still apply.

Is every ductless heat pump eligible for a rebate?+

No. The equipment must meet program requirements and appear on the applicable Natural Resources Canada qualified-products list. The home, existing heating source and installation pathway must also qualify.

Can a ductless heat pump heat my home in winter?

Cold-climate models are designed to operate at low outdoor temperatures, but the selected model's capacity, the home's heat loss and any backup-heating requirement must be reviewed for the property.

Do ductless systems provide air conditioning?

Yes. A mini-split heat pump provides cooling and heating, and it dehumidifies while operating in cooling mode.

How many indoor units do I need?

The answer depends on room loads, floor plan, closed doors and how air moves between spaces. One open area may need one zone, while separated bedrooms or floors can require individual indoor units.

Do ductless systems require major renovations?

They do not require a new duct system, but each indoor unit still needs carefully routed refrigerant lines, condensate drainage, electrical service and a suitable outdoor-unit location.

Is every ductless heat pump eligible for a rebate?

No. Equipment and installation must meet the current program's home, pathway and qualified-product requirements. Eligibility and program terms should be confirmed before a rebate is included in the project decision.
