Where the rebate stacks up

Most homes qualify for the full $7,500.

The rebate is highest when you replace an inefficient heat source and upgrade your attic to R-60 insulation. We size, install, and file the paperwork to land you at the top of the curve.

What changes the day it's installed

One box. Both seasons. A cheque from the province.

The numbers are simple once someone shows them to you in writing. That's literally what the free assessment is for.

Hydro bill drops 30–50%

A cold-climate heat pump delivers 2–3 units of heat for every 1 unit of electricity. Most homeowners see a noticeable drop on the very first month's bill.

One unit. Heats in January, cools in July.

No more babysitting a furnace and an AC. One install, one service visit a year, one quiet box outside. Every room the right temperature, automatically.

The rebate covers a huge chunk of the install

The $7,500 Home Renovation Savings rebate offsets most of the up-front cost. Don't want to buy outright? Ask about our rental program — zero upfront, predictable monthly, full coverage included.

We're not the cheapest HVAC company in the GTA — and that's the point.

BUT we're TSSA-licensed (FS-R-52162), insured by Zensurance, HRAI members, and WSIB cleared. We quote upfront — no surprise charges on install day. We file every rebate form ourselves so you actually receive the $7,500 instead of leaving it in Queen's Park.

And we pick up the phone when something goes wrong at year four — because most cheap installers won't. If you want the lowest price in the city, we'll respectfully point you elsewhere. If you want it done right once, let's talk.

Questions

Real homeowner questions, answered.

Am I actually eligible for the full $7,500?

Probably — the Home Renovation Savings program is open to most Ontario homeowners replacing a gas, oil, or electric-baseboard heat source with a qualifying cold-climate heat pump and upgrading to R-60 attic insulation. The only way to know the exact dollar figure for your home is the free assessment. We'll tell you straight, even if you don't qualify.

Why should I choose you instead of the cheapest quote?

The cheapest quote usually doesn't include: proper sizing, rebate paperwork, workmanship warranty, or someone who answers the phone at year 4. We're TSSA-licensed, insured by Zensurance, HRAI members, WSIB cleared — verify all four in 30 seconds. Our 5.0 rating from 200+ homeowners is built on not cutting corners.

How long does the rebate take to arrive?

Typically a few months after install, depending on program volume. We handle all the filing — pre-audit, post-audit, energy advisor coordination, utility submission — for no extra charge. You sign one authorization.

Will a heat pump actually work in Ontario winters?

Yes. Modern cold-climate heat pumps are rated to heat efficiently down to −25 °C. Every system we install is sized for the coldest week of the year in your neighbourhood. If it makes sense, we pair it with a small backup — so you're never cold, even at −30.

What if I'm currently renting my furnace or AC?

Very common. If you're locked into a big-brand rental (Reliance, Enercare, etc.) and want to own, we've helped hundreds of GTA homeowners exit those contracts — we calculate buyout math vs a new owned heat pump, rebates included. If you prefer to rent but want better terms, our own rental program is a fair alternative.

Own it or rent it — what are my options?

Two paths. Buy outright — you own the heat pump, claim the full $7,500, and every dollar saved on bills goes into your pocket. Rent from us — zero upfront cost, predictable monthly fee, full coverage (parts, labour, service, eventual replacement) included. We run both numbers at the assessment.

How fast can I get installed?

Most assessments happen within 3–5 business days. Most installs are scheduled within 1–2 weeks after that. No-heat or no-cool emergencies jump the queue — call the line, not the form, for those.

What's covered under warranty?

Manufacturer warranty on the equipment (5–12 years depending on brand, parts and compressor) plus our written workmanship warranty on the install labour. We go through the terms line-by-line during the walkthrough — before you sign anything.

What happens after I book?

Within one business day a licensed technician (not a sales rep) calls you, confirms a time, and books the free in-home visit. The tech shows up on time, measures your home, reviews options, emails you a written quote. You decide. No follow-up spam.
